Tower Inventory Maps
The Tower Inventory Map (link below) includes a downloadable map indicating locations of all known towers and other structures currently housing telecommunications antennas within Clarke County or in close proximity to its boundaries.
The Tower Inventory Map with future tower locations (link below) includes a downloadable map showing areas for potential future tower development within the county, referenced as “Permitted Commercial Tower Development Areas” or PCTDAs. These areas were developed by the Atlantic Group in conjunction with the “Telecommunications Infrastructure and Broadband Study” in an effort to identify locations where new towers could be constructed to help establish county-wide broadband and telecommunications coverage. The PCTDAs are represented by green numbered dots on this map.
All special use permit applications to construct new Class 3 (maximum 120 feet) and Class 4 (maximum 199 feet) wireless communication facilities shall depict a location that is consistent with the PCTDA locations shown on the Tower Inventory Map.
